There are too many really good ones for me to choose.
BW updates have continued to be really strong figures. But the non-BWs have largely been really good, too.
Warden leaving has been the best thing to happen to TF in a while. He was really holding things back.

Legacy:
Core: Iguanus. Great to look at, interesting transformation, high fiddle factor.
Deluxe: Skids. Maybe slightly disappointing, though certainly not at the level of Kingdom Tracks.
Voyager: Inferno. Captures the character so well in a really fun toy.
Leader: Blitzwing. Does pretty much exactly what was needed. Could happily lose the Hulk hands though.
Legacy Multipack: Buzzworthy Bumblebee Creatures Collide. Goldbug is really nice in-hand and the others are surprisingly pretty repaints.
Wreck n Rule Collection: Twin Twist. Amazing (and hard to find) mould in beautiful colours.
Velocitron Speedia 500:
Deluxe: Cosmos. Genuine greatness here.
Voyager: Override. By default, really; she’s ok but the toy didn’t blow me away and I mildly regret buying her as a result.
Generations Select:
Clampdown, possibly. I got all the Diaclone homages, but honestly they didn't do a lot for me this year, despite loving the previous Gen Select releases.
Shattered Glass:
Slicer. Zero interest in SG, this is pure Action Master homage for me, and it’s done very well.
Buzzworthy Bumblebee:
Legacy Exclusive Deluxe & Voyager: Blue Bluestreak. Not the highlight of the year I’d normally expect a Blue Bluestreak to be though.
STUDIO SERIES 86:
Voyager: Ironhide. The redo I didn’t know I needed.
Leader: Sludge. Haven’t had the chance to open it yet, though.
Beast Wars Reissue:
Cybershark. What a lovely toy!
Masterpiece:
Crosscut. I got all three of this mould this year, and normally Skids would take it but he was released last year. One of the very best MP moulds ever I think.
GENERAL:
Worst Toy: probably Legacy Kickback. He’s ok, but there’s nothing to get excited about. I transformed him once, thought “Is that it?”, and put him to one side. TR Kickback runs circles around him.
The Buyers Regret Award For The Worst Toy You Bought: Oddly, not Kickback! With him I’m anticipating a nice consistent set of Insecticons. So probably Bomb burst. Again, he’s ok, but he’s not even in Iguanus’s league. A bit simple and the robot mode feels kind of gappy and awkward.
Best Toy: Cosmos. Every good thing people say is true, and I like that his robot mode proportions stand out in a line which has tended toward more human proportions in recent years.

2023 Toy You're Most Looking Forward To: possibly the rumoured Commander Ultra Magnus; given how well they did the new Ironhide this year I think there’s a good chance they’ll do him justice this time.
Of what we’ve seen, MP Burn Out. Tremendous mould, beautiful deco.

Legacy: Legacy is a tricky one as they've been mostly solid updates, but with nothing that really makes them stand out though.
Core: Iguanus. The only good one.
Deluxe: Minerva.

Legacy Deluxe Exclusive: (Red Cog/Minerva) I can find Minerva in my local, which given the scramble when the listings went up is kinda mad. She still wins.
Wreck n Rule Collection: Leadfoot. The mammoth I can live without and he only stays in my house because of his name.
Velocitron Speedia 500:
Deluxe: Cosmos. Road Rocket is nice, but I have never transformed her. Cosmos is fun.
Voyager:
Leader:Galaxy Shuttle
Generations Select: Black Zarak
Shattered Glass: Flamewar. That deco is so good.
Buzzworthy Bumblebee: Silversteak. The blue doesn't pop as well as it could, but it's still a damn fine colour scheme
STUDIO SERIES 86:
Core: Exo-Suit Spike. It does the job.
Deluxe: Ironhide. Was anyone expecting this to be as good as it was? I wasn't!
Voyager: Junkheap. The Marvel UK Junkion!
Leader: Sludge. Was there any others?

Warrior: Slug. A surprise find in TK Maxx and why weren't all of them like this?

The Buyers Regret Award For The Worst Toy You Bought: Bomb-Burst. Core class has been 90% disappointment, but I was hoping that Bomb-Burst would rescale the heights that Iguanus climbed.(there's a couple of jokes in there, surely) But alas, no. Ugly, ill proportioned and lacking all Iguanus's charm. He doesn't even come with a combi weapon bit.
Best Older Toy You Bought: Legends G2 Megatron and Noble. The TR fever is still at hold, but this toy looks so good.Almost makes you wish Takara were still able to do their own decos still.
2023 Toy You're Most Looking Forward To: Probably Deathsaurus, as that's something to keep going all year for.

I've only obtained 12 Transformers in 2022, so I can't possibly complete the categories. So I'm just going to go for my top three:
3rd: Iron Trans 3P Prowl- superb little G1 Prowl who I have played chess against all year. Thank you Kingoji.
2nd: Studio Series Sludge- a welcomed stop on the Dinobot-road.
1st: Blueshift Exclusive: Scrounge- the most amazing Transformer I've ever seen.
